Self-confidence is an extremely important part of our daily lives. However, we all know what confidence means, right?

Nobody is born with high or low self-confidence. Confidence is a skill and a feeling that you can practice over and over again until you become fluent in confidence. And the feeling of being confidence comes from within yourself, from the thoughts you believe and true about yourself.

If you have enough self-confidence then you can achieve everything you want. You get the energy to work towards your goals, overcome your fears, become happy and just live your best life, with true potential.So many of us struggle to have a high level of confidence. Lack of self-confidence negatively impacts our quality of life. It greatly affects our happiness and success.

1. Believe in Yourself

2. Destroy Self-Doubt
Stop doubting yourself. If you believe you can do it, it means you can do it. Only because you failed once, it doesn't mean you are not good enough to try again. Every person learns from their mistakes. You will make a mistake once, the next time you will learn from that mistake and try to avoid it.
When you choose to doubt yourself, you are accepting failure before you even try to succeed. So never give up and keep trying to give the best of you.

3. Don't think too much
You need to stop overthinking every situation to boost your self-confidence. If you spend too much time thinking about one thing, then your mind will automatically find excuses, negative thoughts, etc, and you will get back into the trap of negative self-talk.
You can't expect yourself to change a habit of overthinking instantly. It'll probably take some time to stop overthinking once and for all. But if you commit then you can manage to overcome the habit of overthinking, because you have all the power to control your own life, and there is no reason for you to keep overthinking.

4. Affirmations
Affirmations are the sentences that you say to yourself either in your mind or out loud repetitively. With a positive affirmation, you can turn any negative situation into a positive one.
Take some time thinking about which self-affirmations could help you, and make it a habit to say them to yourself in your everyday life. Self-love affirmations are a great way to practice self-love. Some examples of positive affirmations are given below:-

5. Stop Comparing Yourself with Others
Don't compare yourself to others! Everybody is different and everybody has their own strengths and weaknesses. No one is better or worse than anyone else. So comparing yourself to others makes no sense. It's like looking at a cow and think ''why can't I eat grass?'' I know it's a weird example but I am sure you get my point what I want to say.
Be you, not anybody else. Take some time to look at what you have and be happy whatever you have because when you are grateful for whatever you have, it becomes less likely to be jealous and felt down of what others have. Decide to be and love yourself.

6. Do Exercise
This one is the best way to boost your self-confidence. Exercising gives you a lot of confidence. It makes you stronger, not only physically but also mentally. It makes you mentally sharp, it helps you to concentrate better and it triggers you to go beyond the limits of your own mind.
Perform any kind of physical exercise every day. This exercise can be like jogging, working out in a gym or you can do any exercise at your own home. By performing these physical exercises you will get yourself into great shape and become a fit individual. Physical efforts whether you are jogging or working out at your home place can improve your mood and confidence overall.

7. Say NO
You can not say yes to everything all the time, because then you will be overworking and stressed out all the time. Every no gives you a little more time. Say no when it is a no for you.
At every moment, you have the power to make your own choices. Go for what you want. Say YES/NO when you want to not when you have to. Set your personal boundaries and values.

8. Have Goals
In order to boost your self-confidence, you should have clear goals. Because if you have something to work towards, you're going to find energy and motivation, and it will fill you with self-confidence.
Set a goal you know you can achieve, and then achieve it. You'll fill proud of you. Now set another small goal and achieve that. The more you achieve small goals, the better you'll be at it and it'll again boost your self-confidence. Soon you'll be setting bigger goals and achieving those too.

9.Speak Slowly
Speaking slowly can also boost your self-confidence. When people speak very fast, they rarely appear to be self-confident. Rather they appear to be nervous, as though speaking nonstop is a way to get over the situation.
When you speak slowly, you appear as a calm, confident person. Speaking slowly not only reflects confidence but it also gives you time to think about the next thing you are about to say. It gives you time to pick your words better, thus helping you to convey your message to people more clearly and effectively.

10. Let go of Negativity
Negativity can hold us back from many things in life especially happiness. When you're having around an attitude of ''I have the worst luck or ''nothing goes right in my life'' than that is what you get in return. Because you are choosing to look only at negative things not positive.
Stop worrying and developing negative thoughts about the circumstances and feeling worthless. If you can change things for better, just do it, whatever way you can. And if you can do nothing about it then let it go and try your luck next time. Avoiding negative thoughts and developing positive thoughts on an everyday basis can lead you to be much confident about yourself.

11. Body Language
Many of us don't realize that the most important language which we use is our body language. The way that you carry yourself can say more about you than your words. You could be talking like the most confident person on earth, but if your body language is not on point, you'll still seem super unconfident. Body language is up to 13 times more influential than spoken words!
There are some actions that you can perform to indicate self-confidence. These include keeping up good posture, stand up straight, keep your chin up, and also maintaining eye contact. These actions indicate that you are a self-confident person. Moreover, you can perform them daily to boost your self-confidence.
